How to Win on EPICK

On EPICK, every pick counts. Whether you’re stacking the perfect entry for max payout or fading some else's lineup you think will miss, there are always multiple ways to cash in with every lineup.

two ways to play on EPICK Picks Mode
  1. Win As The Picker

After you build your lineup on EPICK, it’s locked in and ready to go. As a picker, your payout potential depends on how many players you include and the type of play you choose — the more you pick, the bigger the payout multiplier you can chase.

Your winnings are tied directly to your accuracy. Hit all your picks in a 100X multiplier lineup for max payout, or give yourself more grace with a lower multiplier.

Keep in mind: payout multipliers may adjust if your lineup includes players from the same team or game, since projections can be correlated.

  1. Win As The Fader

If you choose to fade a lineup on EPICK, you’re stepping in on the opposite side of the picker. As a fader, your payout potential is tied to how many players the picker selected and whether their lineup hits or misses.

When you fade, you’re essentially betting against the picker’s confidence — if they miss one or more picks, you cash in. You essential get to "be the house" as the fader. Keep in mind: payouts can vary depending on lineup size and correlation between players in the same game or team.

Payouts As a Picker on EPICK

The payouts on EPICK are designed to reward both your strategy and your risk-taking. Not every stat category is created equal — and that’s where multipliers come in.

Stats that are harder to predict, like Home Runs, typically come with higher multipliers because they don’t happen as often. If you nail those picks, you get rewarded big. On the flip side, safer categories with a higher chance of hitting — like picking a player to NOT steal a base — will have lower multipliers since they’re more likely to occur.

Here's a couple easy-to-follow examples:
Example 1: Lower-Risk Entry

  • Your Picks:

    • Patrick Mahomes Over 275.5 Passing Yards

    • LeBron James Over 5.5 Assists

  • Why: These are “safer” categories with higher probabilities of hitting. Because of that, the multipliers are smaller.

  • Outcome: If both Mahomes and LeBron hit, you get paid. If either one misses, you lose the entry.

💰 Potential Payout: 2-pick parlay might pay ~3x your entry.

Example 2: High-Risk, High-Reward Entry

  • Your Picks:

    • Aaron Judge Over 0.5 Home Runs

    • Shohei Ohtani Over 2.5 Total Bases

    • Tyreek Hill Over 110.5 Receiving Yards

  • Why: A Home Run and big yardage total are harder to hit, so the payout multiplier is much higher.

  • Outcome: You need to hit all 3 picks. If even one misses, you get nothing.

💰 Potential Payout: 3-pick parlay might pay ~10x your entry.

How to Win As a Fader on EPICK

The payouts on EPICK as a Fader are designed to reward you based on how risky the Picker’s entry is. The bigger their lineup, the less likely it is to hit — which makes your fade safer. That’s why payouts shrink as the Picker stacks more legs.

Hard-to-hit categories like Home Runs or Stolen Bases still matter, but now you’re rooting for them not to happen. If the Picker is chasing a tough stat and misses, your fade cashes.

Here are a couple easy-to-follow examples:

Example 1: Fading a Smaller Entry (Higher Payout)

The Picker’s Lineup:

  • Patrick Mahomes Over 275.5 Passing Yards

  • LeBron James Over 5.5 Assists

Why: With only 2 legs, the Picker has a decent shot at hitting both. That makes your fade less likely — so the multiplier is higher if you’re right.

Outcome: If either Mahomes goes under or LeBron comes up short on assists, your fade wins. If both hit, you lose.

💰 Potential Payout: Fading this 2-pick entry might pay ~2x your entry.

Example 2: Fading a Bigger Entry (Lower Payout)

The Picker’s Lineup:

  • Aaron Judge Over 0.5 Home Runs

  • Shohei Ohtani Over 2.5 Total Bases

  • Tyreek Hill Over 110.5 Receiving Yards

  • Nikola Jokić Over 12.5 Rebounds

Why: With 4 legs, the Picker’s chances of hitting them all are slim. That means your fade has a much higher probability of cashing — so the payout is lower.

Outcome: If Judge doesn’t homer, Ohtani doesn’t rack up 3 bases, Hill falls short, or Jokić misses the boards, you win. The Picker has to be perfect, and that’s rare.

💰 Potential Payout: Fading this 4-pick entry might pay ~1.2x your entry.
