Responsible Trading

1. Our position

Trading event contracts should be deliberate, affordable and something you can stop. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

EPICK provides the software interface. ProphetX holds the trading account and funds and controls trading access. EPICK cannot impose deposit, loss or position limits, cooling-off periods, self-exclusion, account suspension, account closure, withdrawals or trading blocks.

2. EPICK communications

EPICK will not promise profits, imply likely returns, encourage loss-chasing, target people below the required age, or continue sending marketing email after you unsubscribe.

Use the unsubscribe link in an email to stop marketing email. Manage push notifications in your device settings.

3. ProphetX account controls

ProphetX controls account-level responsible-trading measures. EPICK has not received a confirmed list of controls currently available from ProphetX and will not promise a tool that may not exist. Contact the ProphetX Help Center to ask what controls are available for your account.

Deleting the EPICK application from your device does not close your accounts or return funds. To close them, withdraw any remaining funds and then use the Delete Account function in the EPICK App. That function deletes both your EPICK account and the connected ProphetX account.

4. Signs worth taking seriously

  • Trading more than you planned or can afford to lose
  • Trading to recover losses
  • Borrowing or using money needed for bills, rent or family
  • Hiding trading from people close to you
  • Feeling anxious, irritable or low when not trading
  • Trading interfering with work, sleep, study or relationships
  • Being unable to stop after deciding to

5. Help in the United States

The National Problem Gambling Helpline is available by calling 1-800-GAMBLER. It offers confidential support and can connect callers to local resources.

6. Help in Canada

The Responsible Gambling Council maintains a directory of provincial treatment and support resources.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental-health crisis in Canada, call or text 9-8-8, or call emergency services.

These resources use gambling terminology. The behavioral warning signs can still be relevant to event-contract trading.

7. Friends and family

The resources above can also help friends and family. EPICK cannot discuss another person's account, restrict that person's trading or close the account on their behalf.

8. Minimum age

You must be over 18, or the minimum legal age of majority in the jurisdiction where you are located, whichever is higher. ProphetX makes the final eligibility determination.

9. Contact
